Mission Statement

We are a volunteer, community based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting the sport of sailing. We are committed to community-wide participation through outreach programs emphasizing youth, learn to sail, and race training.

Our Board of Directors

The Savannah Sailing Center is run by a volunteer board of directors. These board members contribute their time and energy year round creating programs, raising money, and promoting the SSC. Our Board of Directors includes:

Our office and main facility are located at Lake Mayer Park at 1850 East Montgomery Crossroads in Savannah, GA. Lake Mayer has entrances off Montgomery Crossroads and is bound by Harry Truman Parkway on the east, Sallie Mood on the west, and Montgomery Crossroads on the South.
