Since our inception in 1993, we have been involved in promoting of sailing to Savannah's youth and adults. We played a large role in the 1996 Olympic Yachting events having trained all of the "on the water volunteers" and hosted over 10 international regattas, including the 1996 US Olympic Team Trials for Yachting. We support competitive collegiate, high school and community programs with groups such as Cub and Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and NROTC. Our sailing instructional program CATCH THE WIND has seen over 1500 youth and adults "learn the ropes".
